Hutchies have been supporting and sponsoring BPAC for 5 years now and an event of this scale would be impossible without them.

You may also want to thank your lucky stars that CEO Jack Jnr is no longer competing on a serious level. Jack was once upon a time one of the countries most formidable players, and had he stuck with the competition scene, would no doubt be taking home the chocolates to some of our biggest events. Lucky for us Jack had bigger stiffs to fry.

With BPAC fast approaching and the Australian Wome

With BPAC fast approaching and the Australian Women's Pinball Champs becoming a favorite and staple of the Showcase, we would love to highlight an amazing event happening within the QLD women's pinball scene.

Netherworld will be the first host of the newly minted SEQ Women’s Pinball Series – Quarterly Comp!

It welcomes all female and non-binary players of all skill levels and experience. If you have ever been interested in the pinball scene and wanting to start playing competitively, this is the tournament for you!

The first tournament commences at 9am on Sunday the 28th of April where you will play in 4-player groups to qualify in the top 8 for finals! Prizes offered the top 4 placing players. The event is IFPA approved.

Entry is $10 and comes with your first drink. Under 18s welcome with a guardian. Tickets can be grabbed via www.netherworldarcade.com/events

This event has been community driven by the amazing members of Belles & Chime’s, a women’s casual pinball meetup that happen in the Netherworld monthly on a Tuesday evening. Check online for dates!

The Clubhouse Moorooka;

Nestled at the foot of Toohey Forest, on the site that was formerly The Moorooka Bowls Club you’ll find an unsuspecting place, The Clubhouse Moorooka. As a not-for-profit community run space The @theclubhousemoorooka offers a welcoming open plan venue with an amazing hand selected range of local independent beers, quality food trucks, family events galore and an atmosphere that can only come from a community led and operated space.

Moorooka Bowls Club was opened in 1968 and has been one of Queensland's leading clubs over the years. It hosted the lawn bowls during the ’82 Commonwealth Games which garnered a visit from Queen Elizabeth II herself.

The Clubhouse Moorooka is incredibly excited to host this years BPAC and regulars, locals, and even staff, are fast becoming friends and participants with the pinball and arcade community.

The Clubhouse hosts a regular IFPA endorsed pinball event on the third Friday every month curated by Brisbane’s own @davesarcade, and has previously hosted the Australian Pinball Champs in 2023, and the QLD Championship and Invitational in 2024.

Anyone lucky enough to attend any of the previous events, knows we're in for a treat in 2024.

BPAC would be impossible without the generosity of machines and time from our friends within the community.

If you would please like to donate a pinball, Donkey Kong cab or console to the event (or more), or jump in with the team for a volunteer shift, or a mix of the two please get in touch.

Like last year, we have some very clear rewards for our sponsors, volunteers and machine donators. The value of your generous help in either vol shifts or machines (or a combination of the two) will be returned in kind with free event tickets.

Volunteer Shift (Half Day) - $100 ticket value
Machine Donations - $100 ticket value
Machine Drop Off or Pick Up - $50 one way ticket value

Pinballs, DK cabs or consoles donated to the event please must be in fantastic working order and capable of handling the entire event.

Volunteer shifts could vary from bump-in, bump-out, helping move machines, looking after the merch desk, registering players at the beginning of the day or helping keep the Clubhouse looking fresh.
